Bloody pogrom in Khalayel al-Louz

On November 29, 2025, illegal Israeli settlers entered the area, attacked several homes, and set fire to plastic agricultural greenhouses, local residents told Anadolu.

At least 10 Palestinians were injured when settlers attacked Khalayel al-Louz, near Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Red Crescent reported one gunshot wound to the thigh and nine cases of beatings. Three of the injured were transferred to hospital, while others were treated at the scene. In a separate report, PRCS confirmed additional injuries, including a woman struck by live ammunition.

Local rights groups noted that Khalayel al-Louz has been subjected to repeated attacks, including the destruction of agricultural structures, uprooting of trees, and harassment of farmers. Earlier this month, settlers demolished a greenhouse and a water well in the same area, which activists describe as part of a systematic campaign to displace Palestinian communities and seize land for settlement expansion.
