Siege on Al-Sila Al-Harithiya

On January 7, 2026, Israeli forces raided the town of Silat al-Harithiya west of Jenin, entering with large numbers of troops and intensive live ammunition fire. During the operation, soldiers ransacked homes, detained and interrogated residents, and reportedly turned some houses into military and interrogation posts.

This operation is widely described in local Palestinian media as a siege-like incursion.
