On June 23, 2026, armed Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes and land in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, wounding 4 people and uprooting dozens of trees, Palestine Online reported.

The settlers stormed the Wadi al-Rakhim and Khallet al-Hummus areas south of Yatta, pepper-spraying residents and leaving four with cuts, bruises, and cases of choking, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamra said. The four were taken to Yatta’s government hospital.

The settlers uprooted 40 olive trees and 20 forest trees belonging to a resident, Jibril Roumi, and blocked the road linking the two areas, obstructing residents’ movement, Makhamra said.
