On January 7, 2026, the Israeli forces began demolishing and bulldozing the yard of an iron factory in the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem. They stormed an iron factory, evacuated its contents, and then proceeded to demolish it. The factory is considered one of the advanced industrial facilities, and was established at a cost estimated at millions of shekels, and constitutes a source of livelihood for a number of families.
