On, December 6, 2025, on Saturday evening, in Hebron/ Al Khalil, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in the Bab al-Zawiya area in downtown Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.

Israeli soldiers opened fire and killed 53-year-old Ziad Naim Abu Dawood, a municipal sanitation worker, while he was performing his duties, leaving him to bleed until he died before handing over his body to Palestinian Red Crescent teams.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, its crews received the body of Abu Dawood from Israeli occupation forces and transferred him to Hebron Governmental Hospital.

Another Palestinian was killed at the scene, and that the army seized his body.

Hebron observed a general strike and shops remain closed in Hebron after Israeli forces killed two Palestinians the revious night in the centre of the city. The strike was called to protest the Israeli army’s killing of two Palestinians under the claim of an attempted 'car-ramming attack.' Hebron’s municipality and the municipal workers’ union also declared a strike within the institution.
