- Source

Archivist Notes On This Video

"Following the article published this week (link in the thread), yesterday a “Summary of the struggle against the Arab enemy in the Holy Land for the month of Heshvan” was circulated — a proud claim of responsibility for Jewish terror in an open group.

Beyond the statistics, which align more with UN data than with IDF data regarding the scope of the attacks,

the summary was accompanied by a video with the soundtrack of the song “Doing Revenge” by singer Dov Shurin (דב שורין). It is a piece of violent snuff-style footage, the kind produced daily by the coverage of events in the West Bank. If you choose to watch it—go all the way and turn the sound on.

All authorities are aware. Senior security officials can continue to speak lofty words against the phenomenon — but meanwhile the rampant incitement continues unchecked. It has been going on for years.

By the way, the Shin Bet spokesperson has still not responded on the matter."

Summary of the related Haaretz piece (archive)

In West Bank, far-right settler groups openly claiming responsibility for acts of Jewish nationalist violence (referred to as “Jewish terror”).

Some groups use names like “King David Battalions.”

Public WhatsApp groups used by settlers have become hubs of increasingly extreme rhetoric, glorifying violence against Palestinians.

These groups publish detailed lists of Palestinian villages attacked by settlers.

Alongside anti-Palestinian incitement, settlers intensify hostile messages against the Border Police (Magav) and the army: posts compare Border Police officers to Hamas militants. Injured officers are mocked or described as being harmed by “righteous Jews.”

This propaganda reframing “Jewish terror” as something positive: Memes and videos replace the phrase “Jewish terror” with “Jewish light.” Some posts claim “settler violence” is an expression of love for the land and the people.

These influential far-right accounts publish ideological messages equating Israeli soldiers in Gaza with settlers in the West Bank or settlers who commit violence with soldiers on duty. They argue there is “no difference between a Nazi in Gaza and a Jew who hasn’t yet acted in Hebron.”

Several videos of assaults on Palestinians (e.g., in Turmus Ayya) are shared with celebratory captions.

Graffiti threatening the IDF’s Central Command chief is circulated.

Answer of the Israeli authorities:

The Shin Bet and police can access these WhatsApp groups but have not effectively stopped the incitement. Only a few investigations have begun, despite many administrators being involved. A previous group that called to “erase Huwara now” has only four suspects under investigation.

The commander of the Border Police publicly denounced the online attacks comparing officers to terrorists. The army and police issued statements condemning all forms of incitement and violence.
