Archivist Notes On This Video

Khirbet Samra is a small Palestinian herding community located in the northern part of the Jordan Valley, within the Tubas Governorate of the occupied West Bank. It lies about 21 km south-east of the centre of Tubas city. It is in a natural block (Block 258) known as “Khallet as-Samra”, on parcel 12 of Tubas lands. The community is in Area C of the West Bank, meaning it is under full Israeli civil and military control. The land is part of the Jordan Valley’s eastern flank, which is of strategic significance and where Palestinian communities face severe access constraints.
