"🚨Mohammed's mother Mervat was released from Israeli occupation prison. Mohammed Sarhan, a 13-year-old from Gaza, spent six months caring for his younger siblings alone after his father was murdered by Israeli occupation forces and his mother, Mervat, was taken hostage. Fortunatley, Mervat was released days ago as part of the ceasefire deal. Mervat recounts how Israeli occupation forces stormed their home, set dogs on them, and shot her husband in front of the children before beating her and dragging her away. “They don't believe in human rights, or women's rights, they have no conscience, they treat animals better than us,” she said. After months in captivity, Mervat was freed in the latest exchange, reunited with her children, and with the son who carried their family alone.
