Jihad Mohammad Ajaj, a 26-year-old Palestinian from the village of Deir Jarir in the Ramallah Governorate, was fatally shot by Israeli settlers on October 8, 2025.

The incident occurred on a main road between Deir Jarir and Silwad, where an armed settler reportedly stopped Palestinian vehicles before opening fire on a group of individuals approaching him. Ajaj was hit by several bullets and succumbed to his injuries at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah. Three others were hospitalized with moderate to critical injuries
