On December 16, 2025, A 16-year-old Palestinian man was fatally shot by an illegal Israeli settler Tuesday in the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem.

According to a statement from the Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Moheeb Jibril was struck by gunfire when a settler reportedly exited his vehicle and opened fire at pedestrians near the outskirts of Tuqu’. An unidentified second young man was seriously wounded and taken to hospital, witnesses told local media.

Jibril’s killing follows the death of a 16-year-old Palestinian, Ammar Sabah , who was shot by Israeli forces during a raid in Tuqu’ Monday evening. Moheeb was killed after the completion of the funeral.
