2023 Incidents:

Multiple documented incidents in 2023 involving settlers and nursery property in Deir Sharaf include:

1. Dec 2 and Jan 10 2023 — Theft of trees/seedlings: Settlers were caught on camera stealing mango, citrus trees, and planters from a nursery owned by a Palestinian family in Deir Sharaf. A later footage instance (June 6 2023) showed them stealing more nursery items. YouTube

2024 Incidents:

1. On January 16, 2024, Israeli settlers at night set fire to several Palestinian-owned heavy machinery and vandalized the same plantation nursery near the village of Deir Sharaf, belonging to Al-Junaidi family. The owner of plantation nursery, Maher al-Junaidi, was informed of the attack by the security guard at the plantation, who was forced to go into hiding at the time of the attack in fear for his life. The settlers damaged trees, set fire to two bulldozers, a truck and a forklift, causing severe losses and damage.

2025 Incidents:

1. On 5 september, 2025, in the night, at around two o’clock in the morning, Jewish settlers raided a pine nursery located at the entrance of the villages of Yatma and Qabalan, south of Nablus. The assailants destroyed all the facilities, uprooted and broke dozens of trees, and damaged the crops, causing considerable losses.

2. On September 8, the plant nursery (Mishtil Al-Junaidy Al-Hadith) in Deir Sharaf was set on fire by masked Israeli settlers overnight. Several buildings, greenhouses, storage structures, seeds, equipment, and agricultural data were destroyed. Fire caused extensive damage, reportedly costing owners millions of shekels; three Palestinians were burned trying to extinguish the fire after settlers left.

Other incidents were reported the same night, in the same area: The settlers also set fire to lands planted with olive trees in Yatma village, south of Nablus. At the same time, the settlers launched attacks on citizens' vehicles south of Nablus, causing damage to some of them.

3. On November 21, 2025, Israeli settlers attacked and caused significant damage to a plant nursery owned by Nasser Nasser in Deir Sharaf, smashing large numbers of cultivated plants

2026 Incidents:

1. On January 8, 2026, a group of Israeli settlers attacked the Al-Junaidi plant nursery in the village of Deir Sharaf (west of Nablus): they stormed the nursery, assaulted people there, and injured at least three Palestinians — including one elderly man who suffered a broken arm and two others with bruises and cuts. They set fire to multiple vehicles — reportedly five cars, four inside the nursery and one nearby — causing significant damage.

Injured Palestinians were taken to hospital, including one in serious condition. Three of the settlers involved were arrested by Israeli police and military forces following the incident.
