"Israeli forces detained and abducted female Palestinian journalist Nisreen Salemon on February 15. Authorities today extended the East Jerusalem field reporter’s detention until February 19 on allegations of “contact with prohibited media outlets,” her lawyer confirmed, per Shehab News. She has appealed the decision to Jerusalem’s Central Court. Following her arrest, Israeli forces also reportedly vandalized her home in the Old City.
