The detainees were held for a short time and released without being taken to a police station or being interrogated. This happens every day in the area: soldiers or settlers wearing military uniforms take Palestinians to a checkpoint or military base for several hours and sometimes for more than 24 hours - before releasing them without any charges, questioning, or transfer to the police. Often, the detained Palestinians are held with their hands bound and eyes covered, denied and subjected to violence, abuse, and humiliation by their captors.

Pogroms and attacks in Haribat an Nabi

On March 11, 2025, According to the activists witnesses from Masafering, "a large settler attack took place early this morning in the village of Al-Ra'ibah near Nabi. About 15 settlers broke into two residential compounds, assaulted residents, sprayed their eyes with pepper spray, and caused destruction in the sheep pens. Four solidarity activists staying in the village were also attacked; their camera was stolen, their phone was broken, and their vehicle’s tires were punctured. At the start of the attack, the activists called the police, but they quickly realized that both the police and the army were already present at the scene alongside the settlers. Throughout the attack, an officer stood just a few meters away, engaged in conversation with the settlers. Even as the attackers fled back to the outpost, he refused to take any action. The soldiers who arrived with the attackers arrested one of the assaulted residents, falsely claiming that he had stolen a donkey from the settlers. In reality, the settlers have been stealing numerous donkeys from the residents in recent weeks. Meanwhile, for Palestinians, even if they wanted to, it would be impossible to approach the outpost without being shot in the head.

in the same morning of the Israeli forces arrested the citizen: Ahmed Abdel Mohsen Rashid in the Khirbet Haribat al-Nabi area, located in Masafer Yatta;

Casulaties: resident Miteb Rashid - sustaining bruises, and the citizen Ali Sabah, and his wife - suffering from suffocation as a result of spraying pepper gas.

In a separate incident last September, the same residential compounds were raided by settlers, police officers, and soldiers, who together assaulted residents and stole dozens of sheep from their flocks."
