Attacks and ethnic cleansing in Qusra

Qusra is a Palestinian town in the occupied West Bank, located south of the city of Nablus in the Nablus Governorate. It lies in Area C under full Israeli control according to the Oslo Accords and is near Israeli settlements and outposts to the south and southeast

The area has faced frequent settler violence and land confiscation due to the proximity of illegal Israeli outposts such as Esh Kodesh and Ahiya.

On July 21, 2024, A group of Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers and foreign activists working on agricultural land belonging to the town. The farmers and volunteers were plowing fields and clearing weeds when the attack occurred. At least one Palestinian farmer and one foreign activist were injured by stones and batons and taken to hospital in Nablus.

On January 2026, settlers placed caravans on the lands of the village of Qusra, harassing the residents on a daily basis. One of the Palestinian families left.

On February 27, 2026, a group of settler militias brutally attacked Israeli activists in the village of Qusra in the Nablus District, West Bank. Two were injured by sticks and hospitalized in moderate condition.

The settlers assaulted foreign activists who were present to support and protect local Palestinian residents in the Ras al-Ayn area, wounding two. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) sources confirmed that its crews provided first aid treatment to a 71-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man whom were injured by colonists before rushing them to a hospital.

According to a B'tselem statement, these pogroms are "carried out with full backing, participation, and assistance from state authorities, as part of a strategy of Israel’s apartheid regime seeking to advance and complete the takeover of Palestinian land. In a video documenting the beginning of the attack, filmed by one of the activists, the assailants can be seen arriving in a Polaris Ranger all terrain vehicle, which was most likely provided to them by the Israeli government. Dozens of such vehicles have been distributed over the past two years by the Ministry of Settlement to outposts across the West Bank, and settlers regularly use them as vehicles that enable rapid access to carry out violent attacks almost anywhere."

On March 10, 2026, the three suspects in the assault on activists from "Looking the Occupation” in Qusra have been released.

According to a statement of Mistaclim "The police didn’t even request an extension of their detention despite having all the evidence. The president condemned it, the army issued a weak response, the media was shocked, and yet another violent incident committed by Jews disappears. The attackers remain free. Under the cover of the war (against Lebanon and Iran), Jewish terrorism is raising its head. The weakness of the police strengthens the Israeli terrorists. A state that boasts impressive technological capabilities thousands kilometers from its borders cannot — or does not want to — stop the terror of its own sons and daughters. The weakness of the police and the security forces is policy not a mistake. The blood of the injured is on the hands of the government ministers and the one who stands at its head."

On March 8, in an effort to strengthen their oppression and silence protest, Israeli forces positioned around a house that was turned into a military barracks. At least two residents were interrogated and later released.
