"🚨"I emerged from the womb of death, from the heart of suffering, from the depths of the pit, a man who reached a point of despair beyond despair." Naji Al-Jafarawi, released from Israeli occupation captivity in October 2025 as part of the ceasefire hostage exchange, speaks out following the Knesset's passage of the "Prisoners' Execution Law" on March 30, 2026. He knows firsthand what Israeli occupation jails look like from the inside: he was forcibly disappeared from Al-Shifa Hospital by the Israeli occupation army, and upon his release, he collapsed when told that his brother, journalist Saleh Al-Jafarawi, had been killed by an Israeli occupation-backed militia the day before. He came out of captivity with no reunion waiting for him. Speaking now about the 10,000 Palestinians still held in Israeli jails, he describes a reality where death felt like relief and humiliation was the deliberate weapon of choice, where he and fellow hostages recited supplications against wishing for death with every prostration because every breath carried a thousand deaths worth of degradation. He directs three messages outward: to the families of hostages urging them not to surrender to despair, to Arab and Muslim influencers telling them this is the moment that defines what their platforms were worth, and to anyone who claims a conscience, asking for the bare minimum of spreading this case to the world. naji_jafarawi (IG)" - Source
