“The lords of the land came for a visit. They enter a Palestinian family’s home as if it were theirs. Someone once told them that God had it registered in their name in the land registry.

They do whatever they want. The army will make sure to remove anyone who might interfere. A closed military zone order for activists, not for the rioters. That way they can steal, take, enter, and roam around.

Because they know the rules. The Palestinians won’t dare resist. And if they do dare — clubs, pepper spray, and if necessary, even a bullet.

And then there’s always the standard line: ‘They felt threatened.’ And it doesn’t matter that they broke into private property.

This is not a loss of control. This is control.”
