"⚡️ عاجل في مجزرة جديدة .. توثيق اللحظات الأولى عقب قصف الاحتلال مجموعة من المواطنين قرب مفترق بهلول في حي الشيخ رضوان شمالي مدينة غزة قبل قليل" - Source
"Footage documenting the first moments after the occupation’s bombing of a group of civilians near the Bahlool intersection in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, a short while ago."
On April 24, 2026, around 14:30, an Israeli drone strike killed two police officers and injured critically two others after targeting a police patrol near Sheikh Radwan police station in northwest Gaza City. The attack occurred in a densely populated area, near the Bahlool intersection in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, placing civilians at direct risk. The wounded officers were transferred to Al-Shifa Medical Complex for treatment.
According to the Interior Ministry, the patrol was targeted while performing its duties, confirming that the officers were deployed near the police station at the time of the strike.
According to @Hakeam_ps, "the security personnel from the police who were targeted today in Gaza City were gathering to have lunch in front of one of their colleague’s house, while waiting for him to arrive. During those moments, they were directly struck, despite not being armed and not wearing any military uniforms. An incident that reflects a clear targeting at a specific moment".
Names of the martyrs:
Police Captain Imran Omar Al-Lad’a
Police Lieutenant Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Qassas
Borader context:
The Gaza Human Rights Center said the targeting of police and security personnel forms part of a pattern of repeated strikes on law enforcement points across the Gaza Strip. The center said the Sheikh Radwan attack was not an isolated incident, citing recent strikes on security points and police personnel in different areas. According to the center, these included a strike on a security point in the Al-Maslakh area southwest of Khan Yunis that killed one Palestinian and injured others, another strike north of the Al-Amal neighborhood west of Khan Yunis that killed four Palestinians, and an attack near the Joudeh roundabout in the Bureij refugee camp that killed one person and injured others.
