"#Breaking ‼️ Circle closed: Forces from the 401st Brigade have killed the militant who killed Major (Res.) Itamar Safir.

⭕️ Last week (Tuesday), during an engagement involving Israeli military forces in the Al-Qouzah area of southern Lebanon, a militant opened fire from the vicinity of a church at a force from the 401st Brigade. As a result of the shooting, Major (Res.) Itamar Safir was killed.

⭕️ Immediately after the incident, brigade troops operating under the command of the 146th Division returned fire and launched an intensive operation to eliminate the attacker.

⭕️ It can now be confirmed that the militant who killed Major (Res.) Itamar Safir was killed by tank fire and a precision airstrike after being identified entering a building near the church.

⭕️ As part of the fire support during the operation, Israeli forces carried out air and ground strikes on observation posts, a weapons storage facility, and buildings that, according to the Israeli military, were used by the militant group Hezbollah to advance hostile activities."
