Archivist Notes On This Video

A surviving mother who was sheltering in tents in the vicinity of A l-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital recounts Israel's bombing and her suffering: "*This is painful morning. A morning that would make stones cry. As you can see. We were woken up at 1:30 am by [the threat of an] airstrike. The men went out shouting amid the tents to warn people to evacuate. I woke my daughters up and ran in fear to the hospital while alerting others to also run away and evacuate.

*We were asleep at 1:30 am, and, well you can see how the tents are [now]. We stayed the night on the streets. Here, look at the children's blankets [being strewn everywhere]. What are we do to do? To whom do we complain? To whom should we go, O world? There are no tents anymore. Why? What did we do? We want to live in peace and security. I had my tent struck 13 times, and I narrowly escaped death 4 times.

We're only live because death didn't touch us yet. We are not alive. We are already dead and done. What is this? What truce is this? We have massacres and martyrs every day. God is sufficient for us and He is the best Disposer of affairs. Have mercy on us, world.*"
