Medical student Azza Abu Mustafa recounts she was doing her shift at the ER at Nasser Hsopital when her cousin came in calling out for her. Told her to grab her things and come to the morgue because her father's body was there. She says she never thought that she would mourn him as a martyr and that she was looking forward to the day he would celebrate her graduation.

Elderly man killed in Khan YounisAround 11:45 pm, an Israeli airstrike targeted the west of Khan Younis killing an elderly Palestinian.
The victim was the father of a medical student completing her internship at Nasser Hospital, who learnt of his killing as his body was brought to the morgue while she was working.
