"🚨 “Where are we supposed to go?”: Israeli forces push the “yellow line” further into Gaza Displaced Palestinians are fleeing near Shujaiya intersection, east of Gaza City, after Israeli forces pushed the “yellow line” westward to within 10 meters of Salah al-Din Street, leaving residents inside the Israeli-occupied area. Drop Site contributor Mohamed Ahmed filmed families gathering their belongings and fleeing the camp. “There's nothing left for us to sleep on. Everything has been destroyed. They've devastated us,” Mohammed Al-Fayoumi said. “Where are we supposed to go? We flee west, and there's nowhere for us there. We flee east, and it's the same thing.” Anis Herzallah described the constant threat from Israeli military operations. “At night we have howitzers, quadcopters, tanks, Apaches and F-16s — all of them attacking us from the yellow line,” he said. “If we had somewhere else to take shelter, we wouldn't have come here.” “We're dying here every minute, every second,” Herzallah said. Osama Mushtaha said families had sought refuge in the camp because they had nowhere else to go, despite its lack of basic necessities. “The yellow line used to be approximately 200 meters away from us. This morning, it was only 10 meters away,” he said. 🎥 Mohamed Ahmed" - Source

Forced displacement as Israel steals more land from Shujaiya

In the early morning hours of October 11, Israeli occupation forces pushed yellow blocks further into the Shujaiya neighborhood in east of Gaza City, making them around 10 meters from Salad al-Din Street according to locals. The move stole significant terrain in the neighborhood and forced displaced families out of their shelters.

The move to push the yellow line further into Gaza was preceded with the bombing of residential buildings in the neighborhood starting around 6:15 pm. Around midnight Israeli artillery shelled the area, and around 3 am at least Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire, one of whom was a pregnant woman.
