"I did speak to people. I told them I was English, as I always do when visiting Palestinian areas. Notice the baseball cap. It would be suicidal to publicize that Im Jewish… as you well know. I’ve been to Taybe several times. It’s a very political village. I spoke to residents with a straight face they told me of the oppression they faced while living in luxury villas and driving luxury cars. The only things I found believable were they confirmed that on rare occasions the gate is closed for security reasons and that there have been clashes with Noar HaGvaot. But your depiction of Taybe is not what I witness when I visit. I’m not one of your haters. I actually think you hold both sides to account. But I do think you are susceptible to being manipulated by propagandists on the ground. If you ever want me to validate one of your stories I’d be happy to jump in a car and do so. Similarly if you ever want to discuss on stream. I’d be honored to. But in closing I do not believe they are a peaceful oppressed village. They are deeply ideological and for the most part live a good life (which I want for everyone in the land Jews and Arabs). Here’s me outside one of the villas a few months ago." - Source
