"“See you in Paradise, my son.” The father of Obaida Murtaja bowed his forehead to the ground in prostration beside his son’s body, his grief and his patience meeting in a single moment, and then recited the declaration of faith over him. Obaida was killed on Friday when an Israeli occupation drone fired on a group of people in the Al-Italy area of Al-Nasr, west Gaza City, wounding several others. His father answered the loss the way so many fathers in Gaza have learned to: on his knees, praising God and praying that his son’s path to Paradise would be easy. Obaida was one of four Palestinians killed across Gaza that day, a year into a ceasefire in which the Israeli occupation has killed more than 1,500 people. firas_shabat1 (IG) kareem_zohar (IG)" - Source
