"“He attained martyrdom,” a family member of Obaida Murtaja says at his farewell, holding back his grief with prayer. Obaida was killed on Friday when an Israeli occupation drone fired on a group of people in the Al-Italy area of Al-Nasr, west Gaza City, and several others were wounded. For this family, it is the third loss in a year. The man speaking says a daughter of the family was killed a month ago, and Ehab a year ago, and still he repeats “Praise God” again and again, saying they will only be patient. Obaida was one of four Palestinians killed across Gaza on Friday. In the same day, an Israeli drone struck a rooftop in Jabalia camp, killing 33-year-old Adham Khalil Maarouf, while the occupation army detonated a robot packed with tons of explosives to destroy what remains of homes in eastern Gaza City.
