Young man vows to uphold his wedding after Israel bombed and destroyed his house

Original Social Media Post

"“I bought tarps and tents for 20,000 shekels so I can get married.” After three years of genocide, he was doing what Palestinians in Gaza do again and again: building a life out of whatever is left. He spent a small fortune on plastic sheeting and canvas, because a tent is the closest thing to a home a young man in Gaza can offer his bride. He planned to hold the wedding party and he invited everyone to come. Then an Israeli occupation drone fired a missile in Nuseirat camp, in central Gaza. Palestinians keep rebuilding, marrying and planning for tomorrow, and the Israeli occupation keeps taking it from them. The wedding he was preparing for will never happen. A year into the ceasefire, more than 1,520 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza. @ahmedjarwan1" - Source
