West Bank, Al-Khalil/Hebron, Beit Ula

On 3 December 2025, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) bulldozers demolished a wood- and construction-materials factory owned by the Ghanem family, in the “Al-Mikhd” area, west of Beit Ula — a town northwest of Hebron (al-Khalil).

According to the Ghanem family, the facility included sheds, machinery, goods, offices — covering “more than three dunams” (≈ 3,000 m²).

The owner, Safwat Ghanem, reportedly said that the demolition came “despite an Israeli court order to halt the demolition,” which he claimed had been obtained after submitting “all the necessary legal documents.”

Ghanem said he was “shocked by the demolition, which targeted all parts of the factory … we were unable to remove them, resulting in losses worth millions of dollars.”

Local official Atiyah Al‑Adem, head of Beit Ula Municipality, confirmed that forces stormed the Al-Mikhd area, demolished the factory, and “issued demolition notices for three more facilities.
